What is the Vichy Parents Club?
Parents and guardians of Vichy students TK-6 who are passionate about creating the best environment for our students and supporting the school, students, and staff.
What is the commitment to be a member?
There is no commitment upon signing up. Different volunteer opportunities will pop up throughout the year and you can be as involved as you would like or based on what your schedule allows. VPC typically meets once a month, either in-person or virtually and these meetings are the best way to keep updated on what is going on and learn about opportunities to help.
What are some of the things that VPC supports?
Our parents club supports enrichment classes like Garden, STEM and music and we also cover the cost of all field trips for all students. These initiatives are funded through events like Jog-a-thon, Spring Auction, and other events throughout the year.
Anything else I should know?
The VPC is free to join and all we ask in return is for your vote for our Board of Directors once a year!
After that, we encourage you to take advantage of other volunteer opportunities as your time/schedule permits. Being a member of the VPC is a great way to be involved in your child’s school experience, know what is going on and when. There are tons of ways to support; we understand everyone has different bandwidths and our goal is to work together so simply signing up for membership will keep you in the loop.
